I also earned two executive certificates from the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, in Executive Leadership and Global Enterprise Management.
It's not all academics. I spent 15+ years in construction management, ultimately becoming the senior corporate buyer for the world's largest landscape company, negotiating more than $250 million in contracts annually. And most recently, I headed up global strategy and sourcing for a top biotechnology company based in Northern California where I worked in multiple countries to support senior executives.
Leaders are who I actually work with. I have helped 100's of senior executives (and 1000's of MBA students / working adults) in organizations including Apple, Salesforce, Google and new start-ups. I facilitate corporate leadership workshops and executive team retreats all around the world. I have also taught 60+ university courses on leadership for top institutions like UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Universidad ESAN. My background is well-rounded, both professionally and academically, because I aim to provide my clients with research-backed coaching.
Finally, on a personal note, I am no stranger to hard challenges. Just back from my honeymoon, I was diagnosed with an ultra rare disease in my spine. I needed 4 surgeries, 4 rods, and 14 screws to remove a bone tumor that had grown around my spinal canal. Everyone's path is different and difficult in its own way.
